The forerunner to a wave of similar projects in the Newton Park area, Drive Control coined many of the design cues seen in subsequent projects in Port Elizabeth's new CBD. The design embodies a distinct philosophy towards suburban warehouses; breaking down the scale and providing a relevant facade to address the street edge, ameliorating the sense of mass in the small scale context.
