The house makes use of the slope of the site and careful level changes to create a complex interplay of spaces for the various needs of the client; such as indoor/outdoor entertaining areas and privacy for the bedrooms and living areas obscured from neighbouring houses. Situated on a hillside overlooking the ocean, great effort was taken to manipulate the building form to encapsulate the panoramic views whilst acknowledging the lines of sight for the buildings behind.
