One of the first fitness centres in Port Elizabeth, the design of the Gardens Health and Racquet Club (now Virgin Active) required thorough research to meet the technical and functional needs of the client and an understanding of the urban context in which the building would fit. Theresult is a building designed to compliment the Gardens Retail Centre and sit comfortably in the greater suburban context.
